CBT is training that can be accomplished from your desktop or laptop computer, recently this has been expanded to include the possibility of having training material viewable on your Handheld Device too! We are looking into this technology currently, and expect it to dominate the industry in a not too distant future!

Computer based training is highly effective because you learn when YOU want to learn. You aren't tied to rigid class-schedules or appointments. You don't have to complete the whole lesson if you don't wish. Just hit "Pause" and return later.

We've been developing computer based training for quite some time now. We have an impressive list of courses that we've already developed, and we're currently working on some new projects that are scheduled for completion very soon.

We have A+, Network+, CDIA, MOUS Certification, Office 2000 courses, many Practice Examination Simulators, and we even have an "A+ Spanish" training course! In addition to the complete MCSE 2000 and MCSE for NT 4, we have the individual MCP courses as well!

Our self-study courses combine instructor led video lectures with workbook and computer-based training. We have found that utilizing more than one learning method greatly enhances a student's retention level. In addition, with self-study you own the material and may refer back to it again and again. In a classroom environment, if you miss what the instructor says, you've missed it, with our instructors being recorded, you may rewind as often as you like! Not only is self-study more comprehensive than classroom training, it is available for a fraction of the cost!

No. Our CBT (Computer Based Training) courses do not include exams. Exams are taken at approved centres. You can find the nearest centres to you by visiting www.vue.com or www.2test.com and following instructions / providing information about the certification and locations you are interested.

All of our courses include one year of unlimited technical support. You can email our technical support personnel who will answer any question you have about your training program.

You may call or email us with your issue - contact details are on provided on our Contact Us page. Further, Specialized Solutions will support you directly - if you prefer - by providing you with one year's educational support.

If any of the CD-ROMs, are delivered broken or unuseable you may send them to us and we will happily replace them free of charge.

Single User Licence:
A non-transferable Licence, which permits the purchaser to install the training on a single PC for use by a single user. Unless otherwise stated, products are 'Single User Licence'.

Site Licence:
Our site Licence is loaded on a server and accessed by the users. The price is calculated according to the maximum number of concurrent users.

Unlimited User Library Licence:
An unlimited user library Licence is loaded on ONE computer in a lab or library and can have unlimited users on that computer.

BBC Library Licence:
A BBC (British Broadcasting Corporation) Library Licence allows one user at a time, to use the purchased material, be it in video or CD-ROM format.

Our Practice Examination / Test Simulators (or exam simulators) are the most comprehensive test preparation tools on the market. "When a certification test changes and Specialized Solutions produces an upgrade for the certification program, we offer our previous customers free upgrades on the interactive CD-ROM's for up to 1 year from date of orginal purchase. The customer simply returns their old CD-ROMs, and receives the new ones absolutely free. These upgrades do not include the textbooks or test engines, but Specialized Solutions does offer these packages at substantially reduced prices."

Specialized Solutions always offers an extremely low upgrade price to customers who don't want to send in their old media. This way our customers can keep their information on the old technology as well as stay current with the new.

Each of our courses is designed to be the equivalent of attending a 40-50 hour seminar.

James Parris is an MCSE, MCP+ Internet, MCT and CNE Certified Instructor. He has instructed throughout the United States, and his reputation as a dynamic instructor is proven once again through these instructional cbt's. Currrently, Parris is a certified instructor for 24 Microsoft courses, 13 Novell courses and 6 3Com courses.

Shawn Oliver is a training specialist for the entire Microsoft Office family of products. He is an MCP, MCT and MOUS Certified Instructor. Shawn's easy-to-understand format and straight-forward, hands-on delivery make him one of the most effective technical application trainers in the industry.

Gordon Taylor is an MCSE, MCP+Internet, and an MCT (Microsoft Certified Trainer). Gordon has taught classes ranging from MCSE classes to HTML to JavaScript, and is qualified to teach 11 different courses. He is currently working as a Senior Engineer and travels throughout the country teaching and consulting. For our course, Gordon presents the material in a straightforward and to-the-point manner, and most importantly, uses hands-on visuals to demonstrate the Microsoft Exam #70-210 course objectives.

Vernon Pierce II is a well-traveled technical instructor with many years of experience backing his presentations.  He is an MCP, MCT, MCSE, and is certified to instruct in twenty-eight courses.  Pierce served eleven years in the United States Marine Corps as a supervisor and instructor in Metrology.  From there he continued as a Metrology Technician for the next five years.  From 1996 to the present time he has been working as a Technical Training Consultant, and MCSE instructor and a network setup / support / administration expert.

Charles S. Dworkis, "Charlie", brings over 10 years of information technology knowledge into his presentations that are informative and entertaining. He is the Senior Vice President and Managing Partner of Prima Technologies, LLC in New York.
