You do not need to have taken the GCSE Biology, though it would be helpful. Basic Maths skills are required. |

All exams are held in England, at a wide variety of regional examination centres. All students must make their own arrangements to sit exams. Exams take place in January (with the entry deadlines for exams being 1st Oct) and June (Coursework can only be entered for June sittings and the deadline is 31st March). Written exam accounts for 85% of the marks- remaining 15% comes from coursework.
Absolute deadline for enrols onto 2006 exams is 1st Feb 2006. After this students will need to take exams 2007.
